A Linearized Numerical Solution for Steady-State Simulations of Gas Networks

Abstract Considering the changes of gas transmission system (hereinafter – GTS) brought about by diversification suppliers, new interconnections with European GTS and implementation an open electricity market then market, a steady-state modelling tool has been developed for future in risk resilience analysis potentially operational planning different or other purposes. The method combines linearized hydraulic conductivity approach technique, derived from linear electrical circuit additional pressure change term active non-pipeline elements GTS. This also takes into consideration limits compressors regulators compressibility factor viscosity based on composition, temperature pressure. paper includes part results obtained validation case study performed presented method.
